"Paris to Pittsburgh" -- Transition Fidalgo Movie Night

Come make a date of it by joining us on April 30 at the Anacortes Senior Center for a special showing of “Paris to Pittsburgh”. Check out a trailer at

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFznn8FNRbU&t=6s

This hard-hitting video shows in graphic detail the effects of climate change on our nation’s environment, with positive and inspiring examples of how local citizens are combating and dealing with the changes, in spite of our current national leadership.

Narrated by award-winning actress and activist Rachel Brosnahan, the video brings to life the impassioned efforts of individuals who are battling the most severe threats of climate change in their own backyards. Set against the national debate over the United States’ energy future, the film captures what’s at stake for the communities around the country. Produced by National Geographic, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and RadicalMedia.

Enjoy the show, and gain new ideas and motivation for what we can do for our radically changing planet. The video lasts an hour and 17 minutes, so the movie will start promptly at 6:45. And yes, there will be fresh popcorn!

Our program starts promptly at 6:30 this month, with the Anacortes Activist Student Union leading off by sharing about their successes at the high school.

Everyone is welcome!
